Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: We currently ship to nearly every nation with the exception of those excluded under US Law or are currently unstable.
Q: When will you ship my purchase, and when will I receive it?
A: In general, all orders will ship within 24-48 hours of purchase, with the exception of postal holidays and weekends. Once shipped, transit time may vary based on carrier and service purchased, and this may impact receipt time. US transit time is about 2-3 days for USPS Priority, and about 5-7 days for USPS standard mail. International transit time can vary considerably due to distance and national carriers. Please note the above are estimates, delays can and do still occur, and are often out of our control. If you notice an issue, please contact us.
Q: Why is a vintage part so expensive?
A: Some of the products you will see in our inventory may date back 20 to 30 years and have increased in value, and may no longer be in production. As with any vintage item the price is based on scarcity.
Q: Do you recycle shipping materials?
A: Yes, occasionally we may substitute previously used boxes or packaging materials for new. At all times we will ensure that the materials will be clean and meet the requirements of shipping so your purchases arrive intact.
Q: I have never built a RC car before, how do I find help to do it?
A: Our blog is always available and many suggestions can be found there. For a fee we can assemble your kit for you.
Q: If I am having trouble with my RC can you help me fix it?
A: Our blog is always available and many suggestions can be found there. For a fee we may be able to repair your kit for you.
Q: Do sell anything other than RC cars?
A: Occasionally you may see other non RC related items available from us. Our core business will always remain RC related.
Q: Do you take PayPal, cash, personal checks, or money orders?
A: We currently accept PayPal, credit cards, and USPS money orders only. We do not accept checks.
Q: Will you accept offers on items you sell?
A: We will consider any reasonable offer. Please keep in mind that we may be able to haggle on some items, but not on others, due to differing profit margins.
Q: Will you watch for a needed part for me?
A: We will accept any parts "wish list" you send us. Please keep in mind that we may not always be able to respond when an item comes into stock. The best way to obtain the item is to keep watching our site.
Q: Will you price match?
A: Yes, we will do everything possible to match a competitor's prices, however, we may not be able to in every case.
Q: Why do you sell used items?
A: We all know this can be an expensive hobby, and utilizing used components helps keep the cost down, regardless if you are racing modern or vintage RC. In some cases, due to scarcity, parts for some vintage kits may only be located in used condition. We will only post gem worthy used parts on our site. Minimum wear parts will be fully inspected, refurbished if needed, and still backed by our industry leading return policy. Title and description will clearly indicate the part is used, with any defects noted, allowing you to determine what items best suit your needs.
Q: Will you backorder a part?
A: Due to the nature of our ever changing stock, and the fact that the vintage parts we sell are out of production, we are not able to back order a part. We may not always be able to respond when an item comes into stock. The best way to obtain the item is to keep watching our site. If you are needing a modern part, we may be able to special order from our vendors.
