RC Pit Spares... QUICK PIT TIP

Unfortunately, RC racing also means breaking parts, and fixing things. There is nothing more frustrating then a race night cut short by not having the correct spares on hand. You don't need to include the kitchen sink, but common sense will result in more track time, and less DNF the race day.

Recommendations: 

• Zip ties.
• Superglue.
• Basic tools.
• Extra suspension parts, pay attention to what you are breaking often, and purchase those spares. Don't' forget extra hinge pins.
•  Spare hardware.
• Transmission spares, enough for a rebuild, including gears, lubes, axles and shafts, and diff balls.
• Spare pinions and spur gears in a range of teeth.
• Spare ball cups, ball studs, and tie rods.
• Spare tires, including differing rubber compounds to address changing track conditions.
• Spare servo gears.
• Spare shock parts, including seals.
• Range of shock fluids and pistons for making tuning changes.
• Box sealing tape, shoe glue, and hook and loop tape, enough for common body and wing repairs.
• Heatshrink and electrical tape, for repairing wires.​
